When should I see a doctor?
See a doctor if you do not get pregnant after having unprotected sex for one year, if you are above 35 or if you have irregular cycles. Please see your doctor if you are not pregnant after six months. If you do have concerns and would like to see a doctor earlier, there is no need to wait for this duration.
What are reasons for male factor infertility?
Men with infertility have various problems with sperm and these include no sperm at all, not enough sperm or unhealthy sperm.
Reasons for Infertility in Females
infrequent ovulation
Uterine Problems e.g. Fibroids
Tubal Problems e.g. Scarred Or Blocked Tubes
endometriosis
older age and reduced ovarian reserve

blockage in the duct the sperm travels through
low testosterone levels
certain genetic problems
Treatment
What treatments are available?
Treatments include:
- ovulation induction pills
- hormone injections to help with ovulation
- intrauterine insemination
- IVF/ ICSI
